Arrival of the Soviet delegation in Belgrade,Yugoslavia, 26 May 1955. Yugoslav President Josip Broz Tito (1892-1980) (saluting) stands alongside Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev (1894-1971). Khrushchev visited Belgrade to bring about a rapprochement between the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia after the Tito-Stalin split of 1948. Found in the collection of the Museum of Yugoslavian History, Belgrade.
