A tiger cub with her mother. MEDIA DRUM WORLD+44 (0) 333 321 1546 London's Rare Tiger Cubs By Aimee Braniff Cree **EXCLUSIVE** ADORABLE images of rare Sumatran tiger cubs have been captured in the UK. One image shows mum cleaning her three month old cub while it looks stunned into the den below. Another image shows the female cub Inca peeking out from behind a tree as her brothers Zac and Crispin fight. The cubs are around three months old in the images and full of curiosity and life, this birthmarks a remarkable time for London Zoo as there are fewer than 400 Sumatran tigers left in the wild and the population is decreasing classing them as critically endangered. These images were captured by Tom Jones (31) from Colchester England. Tom captured the images of the sibling cubs Zac and Crispin (male) and Inka(female) at ZSL London Zoo, in London from about 60 feet away on his Canon EOS 90D. ?I heard about ZSL welcoming some rare Sumatran tiger cubs in the summer and having never photographed this species young, it was a no brainer I was going to visit,? said Tom. ?This was a day full of play. We arrived early and the cubs were somewhat sleepy, but almost like they'd been on charge overnight all of a sudden, the craziness kicked in. ?Photographing young big cats is so unpredictable, you can have an idea in your mind about what you'd like to catch but then you'll get an opportunity you never expected. ?Witnessing cubs like this is not an everyday experience, it is one you won't forget. A challenge at the best of times as like house cats, they don't sit still. ?The shot of the cub with its mum is always a lovely moment to witness. ?Getting the opportunity for that interaction is a very tender moment. ?It is always a good day photographing cubs, coming away with photos you are happy with and proud of is ecstatic. ?Generally, people love to see them, it is not an "everyday occurrence" and
