Soviet T-34 tank installed on the pedestal next to the village of Starovičky in South Moravia, Czech Republic. The monument was erected in 1975 on the place where an important tank battle between the armoured troops of the 2nd Ukrainian Front of the Red Army and the Wehrmacht took place on 16 April 1945. During this battle, the Soviet T-34-85 medium tank number 200 under command of junior lieutenant Ivan Mirenkov broke through behind enemy lines and destroyed three German tanks.
