KUMASI, GHANA - NOVEMBER 2012 - Proud heroes attend the Adae Kese festival. The festival is an Ashanti festival held every 42 days, based on the Akan calendar, in Kumasi. It is a colourful celebration where the Ashanti tribal leaders gather to meet and offer traditional gifts such as schnapps to the Ashanti King. After the traditional gathering the King mingles and dances with the crowd.
