Pollards Corner, Georgia - Young men of different races on the beach of J. Strom Thurmond Lake. The artificial lake, on the border of Georgia and South Carolina, was built by the Army Corps of Engineers for hydropower, flood control, and recreation. It is named after the late segregationist Senator from South Carolina.
