SOUTH ASIA - 19 May 2020 -- The MODIS sensors on three NASA satellites captured this dramatic satellite image of Super Cyclone Amphan as it passes through the Bay of Bengal and approaches the east coast of India and Bangladesh. Indian forecasters said Super Cyclone Amphan had become a Category 5 storm system, with winds of up to 240 kph (145 mph) with gusts of 265 kph (164 mph) over the Bay of Bengal late on Monday, ahead of the expected landfall on Wednesday bringing widespread flooding and damage - Photo: Geopix/NASA
