Rijksmuseum Research Library in Amsterdam The Netherlands

Pentecost Monday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day (25 and 26 December). As part of the renovation of the museum, the Rijksmuseum Research Library has been transformed into a very attractive 19th-century reading room. Here, an extensive collection of reference books and journals is available. The adjacent print room has a modern interior where visitors are welcome to study the special collections of the Print Room and the library. The Rijksmuseum Research Library is one of the main art libraries in the world. Catalogues of auctions and exhibitions, trade and collection catalogues, as well as books, periodicals and annual reports relating to the museum collections have been collected without interruption since 1885.
