Prickly saltwort or Tumbleweed (Salsola australis) growing on a sand drift in an agricultural field during time of drought.


Former farming land reduced by drought to paddocks of drifting red sand. The only surviving vegetation being roly poly or prickly saltwart as it is sometimes called.
