Honey bee on Hedysarum coronarium, also called French honeysuckle, cock's head, Italian sainfoin or sulla from the Mediterranean


This beautiful flower is native to Malta, Algeria, Tunisia and the South of Spain and Italy. It is very drought resistant and blossoms in deep red to pink. It has many names including French honeysuckle, cock's head, Italian sainfoin, sulla or soola. The honey bee is collecting pollen and nectar for the honey production.
