PRIMULIN>E. 542. The primrose family (primulaceae). — The primroses (primula) represent well this family. In fig. 453 is represented the flower of the primrose grown in conservatories. It is gamosepalous and gamopeta- lous. There are five stamens, each one inserted on flower. (Vines.) the tube of the corolla and opposite the lobe.
