Indian Ocean, October 7, 2008 - An AV-8B Harrier jet attached to Marine Attack Squadron (VMA) 311 launches off the flight deck aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu during routine flight operations. Peleliu is currently deployed in the Navy's 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
