Cocoanut palm tree number 3553

The Hotel Garopa on the island of Sal in the Cabo Verde islands has paths around the hotel dotted with cocoanut palms. We visited in November when the gardners were constantly tending the trees, cutting out dead leaves, removing any loose cocoanuts that could fall on tourists and eating them (the cocoanuts not the tourists).
