Plumbers Apprentice statue in Cannon Street station (2011) representing the need for social distancing during the pandemic


The Plumber's Apprentice by Martin Jennings, unveiled in 2011 to mark the 400th anniversary of the Worshipful Company of Plumbers whose Guild Hall was demolished to make way for the station. The seven-foot tall, bronze statue has been built to represent the industry’s history with London and the company’s commitment to training young plumbers.
