Male garden bumblebee (Bombus hortorum) specimen collected from Christchurch, New Zealand. This was deliberately introduced to the country to help with clover pollination. Photographed by the USGS Bee Inventory and Monitoring Lab: an organisation dedicated to identifying, cataloguing and monitoring bees and other insect species.
