They match closely with the types ofNeokanabiceras madagascariense CoHignon (1965: 42, pi. 432 (figs 1784-1786))and encompass the predominantly ribbed var. ankinatsyensis Collignon(1965: 43, pi. 432 (fig. 1878)).
