Quartz and pyrite. A small cluster of slender, six-sided quartz (SiO2) prisms nested on the side of a massive group of intergrown cubes of pyrite (FeS2). This specimen of a high collectors quality is from the Huanzala Mine, Bolognesi, Peru. Actual width of specimen is 110 mm.
