In the Tana Toraja region, making of food at the time of a burial ceremony (Sulawesi - Indonesia). Torajans have generally two funerals: one immediately after death and an elaborate second after preparations have been made and enough money laid aside to invite hundreds of guests. They also believe that the soul of animals should follow their master's in the afterlife, hence the importance of animal sacrifices: pigs and buffaloes, the meat of which being employed to feed guests for two days as well. Les Torajans ont deux funérailles, généralement une immédiatement après la mort et une seconde plus complète après préparatifs et suffisamment d'argent mis de côté pour inviter des centaines d invités. Ils croient aussi que l'âme des bêtes suit dans l'au-delà celle de leur maître d'où l'importance des sacrifices animaux: cochons et buffles, la viande de ceux-ci étant par ailleurs utilisée pour nourrir leurs invités pendant deux jours.
