Takin (Budorcas taxicolor) in grazing in open grassy pine woodland in the Takin Preserve (sanctuary) in Thimphu, Bhutan. The takin is Bhutan's national animal. Its habitat extends throughout the Himalaya but it is a very rare creature. It is unrelated to any other creature.
