Patriot Guard Riders parked during the the funeral of fallen Marine Lance Corporal Travis M Nelson who was killed in Afghanistan Travis Nelson was a graduate of Pace High School in Pace, Florida. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp LeJeune, North Carolina. He died on August 18, 2011 during combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
