Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is the council for the local government area of Na h-Eileanan Siar, the Western Isles or Outer Hebrides, in Scotland. Its original name of Western Isles Council was replaced in 1997 meaning that it is the only council to only have a name in Gaelic - even when used in an English context. The headquarters of the council are in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.
