Marmitte dei Giganti - glacial hollows near Torbole Lake Garda Italy

A view of the Marmitte dei Giganti between Torbole and Nago Lake Garda Italy. These huge hollows in the rock were formed by melting glacial water mixed with gravel and sediment which swirled around to carve out the rock. They look like huge cauldrons - hence the name Marmitte dei Giganti.
