Cape Hunting Dogs, Lyacon pictus
An alpha male or packleader has been fitted with a radio collar so that researchers can track the movements of these rare predators. When movement is not restricted during the time the alpha female of the pack has denned down to have pups they are constantly on the move and difficult to locate without ther aid of technology.
