WWI The bombed ruins of the station at Asiago, The Battle of Asiago also referred to as the Battle of the Plateaux; the Trentino Offensive , Battaglia degli Altipiani, Strafexpedition and the Punitive expedition was a major counter-offensive launched by the Austro-Hungarians on the Italian Front on 15 May 1916. Designed in 1910 by Venetian architect Guido Sullam -1958 closed and used as the bus ticket office-1970's purchased by the town of Asiago -1980's bought by the Mountain refurbished as Spettabile Reggenza (Regency) of the 7 Municipalities”.
