Found her in a neatly furnished back parlor, with her younger sister. Let her talk. T'was all about 'Nic-nax' with discursive remarks on the Picayune. The woman is full of mean suspicions of [Jesse] Haney. When The 'Nic-nax' was started [William] Levison furnished capital, and undertook for his share of the labor the business part, buying paper, seeing to printing, keeping books &c, while Haney agreed to devote his whole time to the editorship.
