A big, old gum tree stands at the side of the track in Badger Creek Reserve, near Healesville in Victoria. This forest giant is showing signs of fire.

Mountain Ash trees (Eucalyptus Regnans) are the tallest flowering plants in the world, reaching over 60 metres. This one isn't quite that tall, but still a very big tree!
