Castell De Montjuic
Castell de Montjuic is an 18-century, star-shaped fortress with views over the port. The present structure was built for the Bourbon family. In this courtyard Catalan leader Lluis Companys was executed here (1940) after the castle acted as a prison during the Spanish Civil War (1936).Behind is Barcelona and Torre de Collserola on the top of Tibidabo.
