This painting, titled The Blessed Bread, was done by the French artist Pascal Adolphe Jean Dagnan-Bouveret (1852-1929). Dagnan-Bouveret was a pupil of paintng gained attention as a stufy of light in an interior, quite apart from the general treatment of the subject.
