Workers are busy processing dried fish at the Lama Kazi area of Sylhet. Every year, when the winter season comes, the small species of fish caught in the local river canal, Bilhaor, are bought at wholesale rates, dried, and sold to wholesalers in different parts of the country, with an estimated value of hundreds of crores of Taka. Around 70 businessmen build lofts in certain places to dry goods. 1500 to 2000 people are involved in the work of drying goods. Sylhet, Bangladesh.
