Colour postcard of the interior of St Mary's Church, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk dated circa 1910 showing the new Reredos, the gift of Mr Lake. This reredos was partially removed in 1933 when it was decided that the scale of the edifice was inappropriate. It was fully removed in 1962 following a further evaluation which considered the installation "a mistake".
