( x x cm), Animal hide, sinew, cotton, glass beads, United States, 19th century, Pikuni moccasin construction and beadwork techniques are similar to those of their tribal neighbors, the A'ani (Gros Ventre) and the Nehiiyawak (Plains Cree). All three tribes use the chevron design on the vamps of their moccasins, and often use the spot stitch technique
