Valencia City, Spain. The Palacio del Marques do Dos Aguas (The National Ceramics Museum Ganzalez Marti)


Palacio de Marques de Dos Agues houses the National Ceremics Museum ( Museo Nacional de Ceramica Gonzalez Marti). The palace dates back to the XV century although it has been re-shaped since then. Originally the home of the Marques de Dos Agues a Valencian noble man. Originally a Gothic building re-shaped to Baroque by Hipolita Novira. The entire facade was redesigned in the 1850's and 1860's. It was purchased in 1949 to house the ceramic collection donated by Dr Gonzalez Marti.
