An old, destroyed pier, in Kato Gatzea village, Pagasitic gulf, right below Pelion mountain, very close to Volos city, Greece
Pelion region is mostly mountainous, with beautiful forests, exceptional nature, and some of the most beautiful villages of Greece, with excellent traditional architecture. Pelion has also some wonderful "exits" to the sea, both on the east side (Aegean sea) and south side (Pagasitikos Gulf). The weather during my stay was very bad, it kept raining and snowing for days, not to mention the fog, but that helped me take some "diferent" photos. Here you can see a photo from Kato Gatzea a seaside village in the Pagasitikos Gulf, that becomes rather melancholic in winter, but still beautiful. Here you can see an old destroyed pier, that looks a little bit like a broken guitar of violin. (Slow shutter speed-long exposure)
