Polyphemus and Galatea depicted in the Roman fresco dated from the 1st century BC on display in the National Archaeological Museum (Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli) in Naples, Campania, Italy. Nereid Galatea, identifiable from the fan in the shape of a leaf, meets Polyhemus, whose love in one of the different version of the myth, she returned.
